What Camel is
A Red Sea dive house that grew a hotel around the boats
Camel Dive Club opened in Sharm El Sheikh in 1986. The current story is not a beach club with a compressor in the back. It is one campus in Naama Bay: an SSI Diamond centre, a small hotel, Pomodoro for breakfast and Italian plates, Vanilla for coffee, and the rooftop for the hour when the boats are already washed down.
The operator talks about forty years, 165,000 divers, and a hard cap of six guests per guide. It was the first Green Fins Gold member in Egypt. The day boats still leave from a jetty a few hundred metres from the rooms — the detail Italian and British trip reports keep repeating, because most Sharm centres send you to the main port.

No. Egypt Diving is a journal from Diving Tours. The contact form opens your mail app so we can point you at reading — not at a cart. If you want a place on a boat, that conversation belongs with the operator.
Camel publishes a maximum of six divers per guide. Field pieces treat that number as the difference between a cattle boat and a briefing you can hear. We report the claim; we do not audit the boats.
No. The wreck sits a long run from Sharm, usually at depths that want Advanced training and recent dives. Scubaverse and Mike’s both describe an early start and a full day. Read the originals before you plan.
Green Fins is a Reef-World / UNEP assessment of dive and snorkel operators. Gold is a low impact score on a 330-point scale. Egypt runs the programme with CDWS. Our Reef pages brief the standard and link the source.
